  1. Who is your CHAMPION
My wife Monica.  She is my champion because without the sacrifices she has to make each week due to running our company, none of this would be possible.  She knew going into this 10 years ago that she was going to have to share me, sometimes unfairly, and in that time she’s NEVER flinched or allowed me to second guess our decision.
  2. What is the hardest thing about leading a company?
Time management! There’s never enough time to get everything done as I want it.
  3. Who has had the most influence and guidance in helping you run your business? What is the best advice they have ever given you?
The person who influenced me the most over the years was the President/owner (John F.) of the very first IT service provider I worked for from 2006 – 2009.  While I find myself today doing and saying some of the same things he did, I also learned a TON of hard lessons he had to experience through his mistakes.  Those mistakes over the years were engraved in my mind to ensure I would not replicate them with my own company.
  4. What is the best advice they have ever given you?
He didn’t really give me this advice, it’s just something I learned during our time together. I learned to always stay true to your values, no matter the cost.
  5. What is the most powerful story or anecdote that demonstrates how your Vistage group has helped you in your business?
While not a member for very long, my Vistage group has helped me see in a different light when it comes to making the difficult decisions.  Coming into the group with a rather ugly employee issue to navigate, and seeing how effective my fellow members were at weeding out the nonsense and getting to the heart of the matter, has helped me maintain a level of perspective and decisiveness that I had lost over the years.
  6. If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
Without a doubt it would be time travel.  I can’t tell you how many times that would have been handy!  LOL!
  7. What is your favorite candy or snack?
    Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  8. What song would you listen to if you need to get really pumped up?
That’s a tough one as the situation really dictates the music for me. That said, if I needed to get pumped up for a sales meeting, I would listen to something from AC/DC or Van Halen.
